Welcome!
I'm sorry to disappoint, but you're way too early. I appreciate you for being here though! Maybe you'll read my story one day.
If you encounter any issues on the site, please let me know!
Thank you! ~ Neru

Amidst a large, bustling city appears a bookstore, seemingly out of nowhere: A tiny, outdated shop that doesn't match it's modern surroundings whatsoever.
It's run by Sarizia, a young woman who is surprisingly wise; yet snarky with an attitude.

But that is hardly the only curious thing about her. To the surprise of her customers, she doesn't take money in exchange for the books; instead, she asks them for a personal story.
It's impossible to imagine how she's able to keep up a store like that in this economy.

However, it does beg the question...
Who are you, Sarizia?

General Information

Welcome to MYRIAD! I'm incredibly thankful that you're here.
MYRIAD has been a long-standing passion project of mine for quite some years now. This site, however, is still very new in its conception.
All official content for MYRIAD will be hosted here, as well as all news, updates and information about the author and/or future projects.

What's MYRIAD?

MYRIAD is a story that I've been writing, developing and improving since 2016. What started out as a simple idea that I'd think about every now and then, has now turned into a full fledged story.

The story of MYRIAD focuses on the hardships of living (or, more accurately, surviving) in an active warzone.
It heavily leans on events, experiences and historical references from our world; the story and its world is entirely fictional, however.
Of course, it goes a lot deeper than just that. But I will not be providing a full synopsis of the story before actually releasing a few chapters; otherwise I'd set up anticipations and expectations that I simply wouldn't be able to meet in time.

When will the first chapter come out?

Truth be told: I don't know.
This is something I hold dear to my heart, but ultimately it's also just a feeble dream that most people simply can't find the time for. The same goes for me. I'm a full-time college student, I work and study most of the time.

I plan to release MYRIAD in the form of comic chapters, but those of you who are familiar with it know how awfully difficult and time-consuming that is. I have the benefit of not having to adhere to any deadlines, and yet that might very well be the biggest hurdle for the release of this series.

However, I can promise one thing: The story has been fully planned out, from start to finish. I know all too well the incredible let-down that a poorly thought-out story can be. That's why I dedicated myself to refining all important details of the story, while also leaving enough room for me to dynamically add or change certain portions as we go down this road.

Why MYRIAD?

For the longest time I'd ridicule people chasing their dreams for being childish. And yet I have this dumb plan of maintaining, updating, writing, drawing, storyboarding and publishing a series on my own.
This, by all means, is the pinnacle of dreaming a tad bit too much. And I'm fully aware of that. Honestly, I'd make fun of anyone telling me that they're publishing a series of their own.

Then why do it?
Pure spite and dedication. Not a day goes by where I don't second guess myself or this whole idea, but the many disappointments I have faced over the years motivate me to keep going with this. And I will continue to work on this until I can't. Because if I can't hold on to this, then I don't have much else to hold on to. So I'll try my hardest to make it work.

Finally...
To close this off, I'd like to express my utmost gratitude to you for even reading this far. It's more than I could ever wish for.
There's an incredible amount of people out there like me who follow their own dreams and hope to achieve something big one day. Remember that behind every work of art is a person with passion, conviction, determination and, most importantly, dedication. And you're the one that can make a difference in their life by simply giving it a try.
Don't be like how I used to be and ridicule people for having dreams. Encourage them, motivate them, give them feedback. That's all I can ask for.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
